A donor advised fund provides individuals the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Sharon Towers and other qualified charities.
You can recommend a grant or recurring grants now to make an immediate impact or use your fund as a tool for future charitable gifts. You can also create a lasting legacy by naming Sharon Towers the beneficiary of the entire account or a percentage of the fund. With a percentage, you can create a family legacy of giving by naming your loved ones as your successor to continue recommending grants to charitable organizations. Individuals who are 70 1/2 and older can make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) gift directly to Sharon Towers in any amount up to $100,000 per year.
A required minimum distribution (RMD) is the minimum amount that people age 72 ad older must withdraw from their account each year.

In-kind gifts are donated tangible personal property, other than land or buildings, and includes furniture, books, jewelry, paintings, etc.
The Sharon Towers Treasure Chest and Library welcome such donations. Sales from the Treasure Chest, our resident run thrift store, benefit our community. The Library collection includes thousands of books, available for residents and team members to check out for their reading enjoyment.
